How do I add a redirect to my website?

cPanel has a page for managing and configuring redirects on your site. This lets you point visitors from one URL to another.

The Redirects interface can be found in cPanel under the Domains section.

Step 1 - Configuring a redirect

You can add a redirect by filling out the form in the Add redirect section of the page. In the example below, we're redirecting visitors that access wp.prostack.dev/blah to http://www.prostack.uk.

Please note: cPanel manipulates your site's .htaccess file to add and manage these redirects. This means that in rare cases, it may conflict with your site's pre-existing redirects.

Contact your web developer if you're seeing strange behaviour after adding a redirect.
