How do I add or manage SSH keys from WHM?

You can add and manage your Root SSH Keys from your WHM account for customers who have Cloud/Dedicated Hosting packages.

Step 1

Log into your WHM account and search for Manage root's SSH Keys and click on it.

Step 2 - Importing the public_key

Click on Import Key to upload the public_key to the SSH server.

You will now be redirected to a page, where you'll need to provide a name to the key, a passphrase, and paste the public_key information.

Pasting the private key is optional. Once you have entered the details, please click on Import button.

Step 3 - Authorize the imported key

Now, from the Manage root's SSH Keys page click on Manage Authorization from the listed public keys section for the key you've just uploaded.

Next, click on Authorize and you may now Return to SSH Manager.
