Martin wrote his first lines of code on a BBC Micro, aged 7.
Yes, that old. He’s 20 years deep in hostingdom, and he’s witnessed everything from the time websites were small and servers were huge. He married his wife in Vegas – also a coder – so essentially spends his waking life making developers happy. When he’s not doing that, he’s playing racket sports of almost any kind. Chief Technical Officer
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away (outside the M25), clients at another hosting company kept asking for the ‘dream team’ on their accounts. This was Jimmy and Martin, and thus the fellowship of ProStack was formeth. Jimmy came battle-hardened from the CloudFlare SRE team, so couldn’t have had a better bootcamp to safeguard super scalable and reliable software systems for clients. Although if the truth be told, he’ll always have fond memories of the Geocities era. Don’t ask. Or maybe do?

Senior Technical Support Engineer
Josh’s fascination with technology began with the screech of dial-up and Game Maker on his first PC. From those early days, captivated by the endless possibilities of software and the internet, he slowly evolved into a seasoned systems administrator. At ProStack, he leverages his love for intricate and high performance systems to ensure everything runs flawlessly. When he’s not fortifying servers or fine-tuning networks, you’ll find him immersed in the latest technology or designing his own indie game.
Alice Hockley
Sales Manager
With a degree in History, Alice found herself spending over a decade in Customer Service and Sales roles at a software development company, because who wouldn’t connect the dots between ancient civilisations and software solutions? It’s given her the kind of business sense that can’t be taught- forging new business and making sure existing customers feel like VIPs every step of the way. Oh, and did we mention she’s a Royal Academy of Dance-qualified ballet teacher?
Sarah Hole
Office Administrator
Sarah keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes at ProStack, supporting the team in their mission to deliver top-tier web hosting. With a background in finance and admin, she brings calm, care, and a can-do attitude to the office. A mum of two, fitness enthusiast, and Mental Health First Aid trained, Sarah runs 18k a week and still has energy to spare. Friendly and approachable, she’s the steady presence everyone needs — whether it’s a busy Monday or a caffeine-fuelled Friday.
