In the market for a Kinsta alternative?
Kinsta sells managed WordPress hosting on Google Cloud, priced per site and metered by traffic. If you host a portfolio of client sites, those meters and the paid add-ons on top of them are worth a close look before you commit.

Introducing Kinsta

- Single-site plans from $35/month; 40 sites from $450/month
- Each plan capped by monthly visits or bandwidth, with overages at $0.50 per 1,000 visits or per GB
- Redis sold as an add-on at $100/month per site; reverse proxies at $50/month per site
- 99.9% uptime SLA as standard

What sets Prostack apart?
You pay for the server, not for each site
- ✓ Kinsta counts every WordPress install, caps each plan by monthly visits or bandwidth, and bills overages at $0.50 per 1,000 visits. Cito is one flat monthly price per server, with no billing by the visit or the gigabyte.
- ✓ Adding a client site on Kinsta means a bigger plan or $30/month for the extra site. On Cito, you can add as many sites as you like.
- ✓ A busy Black Friday, or a campaign that beats its targets, won’t show up on your invoice. If your sites outgrow the server, you move up a plan, and we’ll talk it through with you first.
Performance features come as standard
- ✓ Redis object caching costs $100/month per site at Kinsta. Across ten client sites, that’s $1,000 a month before you’ve paid for hosting. Every Cito server has Redis installed by default, for every site on it.
- ✓ Kinsta also charges $50/month per site for a reverse proxy and $10/month per 500MB of extra PHP memory. On Cito, proxy pass is in the panel and PHP gets the server’s resources.
- ✓ Boost page caching, staging clones and preview URLs are all part of Cito, with nothing extra to add at checkout.
We’re not WordPress-only
- ✓ Since February 2026, MyKinsta has handled WordPress only. Kinsta’s app, database and static site hosting moved to Sevalla, a separate platform with its own dashboard. Cito runs WordPress, Magento, Laravel, Node.js and Docker apps on the same server, and we offer cPanel and Windows servers too.
- ✓ Prostack has no plugin block list. Kinsta blocks a number of caching and backup plugins at install, so check the list against your client stack.
- ✓ You can keep your whole client portfolio with one host.
We’re UK-based and hands-on
- ✓ Our support team is UK-based and works 24/7, so you deal with people in your time zone. Kinsta’s technical support runs through live chat.
- ✓ We resolve tickets in 11 minutes on average.
- ✓ Our uptime SLA is 100%. Kinsta’s standard SLA is 99.9%, and its daily maintenance window doesn’t count as downtime.
