What is the difference between WHM and cPanel?

What is WHM?

WHM is an account management panel that allows the user to manage their customer's accounts (a resellers control panel). WHM allows you to create new accounts and adjusting the limits of each individual account, is among many of the options possible.

What is cPanel?

cPanel is a site management panel given to the individual account holder, this allows them to control their particular account. Managing their files and creating email accounts would be a task that can be performed in cPanel.
